Let me tell you a crazy story. While Timothy, Elijah & Priya were fishing in a back creek behind a hotel, Priya saw the woman in the black hoodie and wanted to see if she was the one who was worshiping at the church we had just visited. It wasn’t, but the conversation led to a divine encounter. They continued to talk and she said that she wanted us to meet her husband, who happens to be a leader at James River Church in Springfield, Missouri. It is probably the biggest Assembly of God church in the country. We had a meeting with him on the Sunday it happened to be missions Sunday. The service was amazing and really refreshed our heart about international missions. The meeting was also amazing and healing because we were able to share some past experiences and God used this brother in Christ to just be representation of past wounds, and we were able to open up in this way and he was able to bless us as well. It was a beautiful meeting and reminder that God is faithful and acts of obedience lead to blessing.

Timothy suggested that because we were only a few hours south of IHOP (International House of Prayer) in Kansas City, he wanted to go up and visit. Since I am the admin in the family, I usually book hotels. Timothy said no, don’t book one night, lets trust God. So we went to IHOP, in Kansas City, which happened to be the night of the Superbowl. Well guess what, the Kansas City chiefs were in the Superbowl. There was a prophecy a long time ago that if they win the Superbowl, revival would break out in America.

At International House of Prayer (where worship/prayer has been going 24/7 since 1999)

We spend a good part of the evening at IHOP, and it was amazing. The presence of God was so thick there and the people were so nice. People from all over the world were there and in the back, there were different rooms set up. Some were prophetic rooms, some healing rooms, some other rooms were specifically for prayer for government. The most amazing part was, was I met a woman who hadn’t been in over a year, and she felt pulled to go. I told her we were passing through, and she basically said, why don’t you guys stay with us a night. It was so special and her husband, from China, was able to pray and encourage us. It’s so amazing when we give the control over to God and allow Him to bless us. God used this provision to remind us to trust Him and let Him provide the night, and in doing that we were able to meet an amazing family!
