Timothy and I have been craving a home fellowship that is actively living, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and sharing the gospel. Since we have spent some time around people from TLR (The Last Reformation) founded by Torben Sondergaard, we find that these are the people truly going after the gospel and living out Mark 16:17-18:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Since we have been struggling to find it in the town we live in, we decided to travel a few hours to visit a healthy one. We left on a Friday afternoon (so the two littles could snooze in the car) and spent dinner time with a couple that actually had spent some time with YWAM. The husband is from England (and who doesn’t love an English accent?) and wife from America. Timothy and Michael decided to go out and evangelize in the morning while Andy(his wife) and I enjoyed a coffee together holding it down with the kids and encouraging one another. We were able to talk about renewing the mind (my absolute passion) while the kids played. Timothy and Michael had an absolute amazing time seeing almost a dozen people healed and encouraging everyone they encountered. They were available, and that is all God wants sometimes, is to be available for Him and be vessels of His glory.

We then met another family at the boat launch, where they took us on a ride on a pontoon to a place called “Blue Springs”, which was so beautiful. Turquoise, clear, fresh spring water. It was a blessing seeing our friend Garrett pray for several people on our walk to the springs. Some of the group took a dip in the spring water, seeing manatees, fish and other wildlife so clearly! We stopped at Walmart on the way home, picked up some wings for dinner and enjoyed fellowship with an amazing family in Christ. After getting just a couple hours of sleep (my son Shiloh is new to sleeping in the pack n play and only slept about 3 hours). At 6am I decided to take him out and get some Starbucks for me and my friend Ilse, bless her with flowers and pick up some sides for lunch. We went to the church they fellowship at and Timothy was able to share encouragement to the body and also pray for the sick. We went back to their house, where a few other couples were there for the home fellowship which lasted from lunch, until after dinnertime. Our brother was trying to sell his truck, and could not find the keys after him and his wife searching for a long time (read testimony below). He again took the time to share the gospel with the people who came to buy his truck, it was encouraging seeing him going after it again! The topic was marriage and we were able to sit through some of the series called, “Love & Respect”. It was so much fun being around like-minded people with beautiful hearts. We left after 8, got some coffees, and drove back home. It was a refreshing time in the Lord! I tell people, if there isn’t a solid fellowship where you live, it is worth driving a few hours to visit one, as we weren’t meant to do life alone!

A fun testimony:

It is frustrating when you lose your keys, especially when you are trying to sell your truck and someone comes to test drive and potentially buy it. This was the case Sunday. These people came from a few hours away and Garrett & his wife Ilse could not find the keys. What’s funny is my husband and I couldn’t find our keys either and needed to get something from the car. One of our friends there prayed that they would find their keys. I remember my husband being near the couch, and had a hunch maybe they were there. I asked my son Elijah to search there, a few minutes later after our friend prayed, Elijah finds their keys. And then, we find ours! God is so good and has fun stories like this all the time. It is important that we partner with him and pray, and He works in amazing ways! We were asking God for a word of knowledge of where the keys were, and He answers!
